Estate White – Domaine Gerovassiliou | Fresh, aromatic and elegant Greek

The Estate White from Domaine Gerovassiliou is a refined, aromatic white wine from Epanomi, near Thessaloniki in northern Greece. This elegant blend combines the expressive Greek grape Malagouzia with the fresh structure of Assyrtiko, resulting in a lively, characterful wine.

Grapes & origin
A blend of Malagouzia and Assyrtiko from Domaine Gerovassiliou‘s own vineyards in Epanomi. The proximity of the sea and the limestone soils give aromatic intensity and fresh acidity.

Vinification
The grapes are carefully selected and vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled low temperature. This preserves the fresh aromas and the character of the grapes as fully as possible.

Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow with green reflections. On the nose aromas of citrus, peach, tropical fruit and white flowers, with subtle herbal notes. On the palate fresh and balanced, with lively acidity and an elegant, aromatic finish.

Serving tips
Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Delicious with fish, shellfish, salads, light pasta, chicken or Mediterranean mezze. Also perfect as an aperitif.

Cellaring
3 to 4 years — keeps its freshness and aromatic expression.
