Supple, fruity and authentically Greek

Mostra Red is an approachable Greek red wine in a handy 500 ml bottle. It has a supple, fruity character and is ideal for everyday use. Thanks to its soft tannins and friendly flavour it goes excellently with Mediterranean cooking and traditional Greek dishes.

Grapes & origin

From selected Greek vineyards, where the sunny Mediterranean climate gives ripe grapes with plenty of fruit and a balanced structure. The wine is made from a blend of traditional Greek varieties.

Vinification

The grapes are carefully fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. This preserves the fruity aromas and creates a supple, easy-drinking red with no oak ageing.

Tasting notes

Deep red with purple nuances. On the nose aromas of ripe cherry, red forest fruit, plums and a light spiciness. The flavour is soft, fruity and round, with mild tannins and a pleasantly fresh, supple finish.

Serving tips

Serve at 16–18 °C. Delicious with grilled meat, souvlaki, gyros, pasta, pizza, stews, Greek mezze and matured cheeses. Also an excellent partner for a convivial barbecue.

Cellaring

This wine is meant to be drunk young and is at its best within 2 to 3 years of harvest.
