Tselepos Blanc de Gris

Blanc de Gris – Tselepos Winery | Elegant, fresh and aromatic

Blanc de Gris from Tselepos Winery is a refined, fresh white wine from the Mantinia region in the Peloponnese. It is made from the aromatic Moschofilero grape, which naturally has a pink skin but is vinified here as a white wine (blanc de gris). The result is an elegant wine with fresh acidity and floral aromas.

Grapes & origin
100% Moschofilero from high-altitude vineyards in Mantinia (PDO). The cool climate and limestone soils give aromatic intensity and lively freshness.

Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested and pressed, after which fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperature, to preserve the fresh, aromatic qualities of the grape as fully as possible.

Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow with subtle pink reflections. On the nose aromas of rose petal, citrus, lime and white flowers. On the palate fresh and lively, with crisp acidity and an elegant, aromatic finish.

Serving tips
Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Delicious with fish dishes, shellfish, salads, light pasta and Mediterranean mezze. Also perfect as an aperitif.

Cellaring
At its best within 3 to 4 years to enjoy its fresh, aromatic style.
