Kleoni Red is a simple, friendly red wine from the Peloponnese, perfect as an everyday house wine. This supple blend of local varieties gives a fruity, light red with a soft finish. A wine everyone drinks easily — lightly chilled too.
Grapes & origin
A blend of local red grapes such as Agiorgitiko and other regional varieties from the area around Nemea. The wine is made in a traditional style, aimed at freshness and approachability.
Vinification
Vinification in stainless steel tanks, with no oak ageing. The emphasis is on pure fruit and soft tannins. Light in alcohol and supple in style.
Tasting notes
Clear ruby red. On the nose aromas of redcurrant, cherry and a hint of spice. On the palate supple and light, with fresh acidity, mild tannins and a friendly finish. A wine for any moment.
Serving tips
Serve at 14–16 °C, lightly chilled in warm weather if you like. Perfect with pizza, pasta, light meat dishes or mezze. Also fine as a red for lunch.
