Retsina Kourtaki 500 ml — a classic from Athens
An iconic retsina, much loved in the traditional tavernas of Athens and far beyond — now in a stylish 500 ml bottle.
Grapes & origin
Made from locally grown Savatiano and Roditis from the Attica region. Since 1895 the Kourtaki winemakers have woven Aleppo pine resin through the wine, following a centuries-old tradition.
Vinification
During fermentation, small pieces of natural pine resin are added to give the wine its characteristic aromatic spice and fresh structure. Modern techniques ensure a refined balance and a mild resinous touch, never overdone.
Tasting notes
Clear golden in the glass, with invigorating aromas of citrus and a delicate hint of resin. The flavour is lively and balanced, with a fresh finish and a lingering resinous sensation.
Serving tips
Best served chilled at 8–10 °C. A perfect partner for mezze, salads rich in olive oil, fish and shellfish, but also ideal with tzatziki and feta.

Designed to be enjoyed young: fresh, aromatic and approachable — at its best within 2 to 3 years.
