Monolithos Red from Bairaktaris Winery is a supple, expressive red wine of 100% Agiorgitiko from the historic Nemea region. It offers everything you expect from a classic Nemea: ripe red fruit, soft tannins and an elegant structure — perfect for everyday enjoyment and at the table.
Grapes & origin
100% Agiorgitiko from vineyards at 300–400 metres around Nemea (PDO), where the terroir of limestone soils and a temperate climate gives aromatic, well-balanced grapes.
Vinification
Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Short ageing in tank or used oak barrels to preserve the fruit and the softness of the wine. No heavy oak influence — the wine stays lively and approachable.
Tasting notes
Clear ruby red. On the nose aromas of cherry, raspberry, gentle spices and a hint of floral freshness. On the palate supple, medium-bodied and round, with fine acidity, mild tannins and a fruity, balanced finish.
Serving tips
Serve at 16–17 °C. Perfect with grilled meat, stuffed peppers, pasta with tomato sauce, moussaka or medium-matured cheeses. Also excellent as a high-quality house red.

At its best within 3 to 5 years — drink young and fresh for optimum fruit expression.
