Metsovo Archontiko Kapnisto is a characterful smoked Greek cheese from the Metsovo region in Epirus. It has a full, lightly salty and piquant taste with a recognisable smoky aroma. Its firm structure makes it lovely as a table cheese, and equally suited to frying, grilling or use in warm dishes.
Taste and use
The taste is rich, herbal and smoky, with a pleasant salty note. Good sliced on a snack board, with olives and bread, and ideal for saganaki, pasta, pizza, oven dishes or grilled vegetables.
Serving tip
Serve at room temperature for the full taste, or fry briefly for a warm, melted cheese with a lovely smoky character.

Keep refrigerated. Close well after opening and use within a few days.
