Giannioti Chortopita village pie with filo, round 850 g

Chortopita is a traditional Greek vegetable pie from rural regions where wild greens and herbs play an important role in the kitchen. This choriatiki version is made with thin filo pastry and a filling of various leafy greens, herbs and olive oil. The result is a flavourful combination of a crisp outside and a fresh, aromatic inside.

Ingredients:
Pastry (60%): wheat flour, vegetable oils and fats (contains soy oil, colour: beta-carotene), water, salt, sugar.
Filling (40%): vegetables 50% (fresh spinach of Greek origin 75%, leek, onion, dill), feta PDO 23% (pasteurised sheep’s and goat’s milk, salt, culture, microbial rennet), mizithra 17% (whey cheese from goat’s milk), wheat semolina, vegetable fats and oils 1.5%, salt, sugar, spices.
