Alfa Bougatsa with custard 800 g

Alfa bougatsa with cream is a classic Greek treat, made with thin, crisp filo pastry and a soft, creamy custard filling. Baking gives the pastry a golden, airy structure while the filling stays wonderfully smooth and lightly sweet.

This bougatsa is traditionally served with icing sugar and a touch of cinnamon, which gives an authentic taste. Ideal for breakfast, as a dessert or as a snack. Simple to prepare in the oven and perfect to share. A much-loved speciality of the Greek baking tradition.

INGREDIENTS
Cream 65% (water, sugar, wheat semolina, corn starch, cottonseed oil 1.5%, vanilla flavouring 0.13%, colour: β-carotene), wheat flour, water, cottonseed oil 7%.
Contains less than 2%: salt, emulsifier: glycerol.
Made in a factory that also processes mustard, sesame, peanuts, nuts, soy, dairy products, celery and egg.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 190–200°C. Remove only the paper lid from the pack and place the product, in its paper tray, on the lowest shelf of the oven. Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, depending on the oven, until golden.
