Jiotis Crème Patisserie Chocolate (ΓΙΩΤΗΣ Κρέμα Ζαχαροπλαστικής Σοκολάτα) is a lovely, airy chocolate cream that gives you a creamy dessert or filling in minutes. Ideal for tarts, pastries, profiteroles, desserts and creative sweet ideas. Its rich chocolate taste and simple preparation make this classic JOTIS mix a favourite with home bakers and lovers of Greek desserts alike.
Preparation
Whisk the contents of the sachet for 5 minutes with 400 ml cold milk.
For a richer taste, replace 90 ml of the milk with 90 ml cream.
The prepared cream can be used straight away or combined with:
- Pieces of fruit such as strawberry, banana or peach
- Jam or Greek spoon sweet
- Chocolate, caramel or strawberry syrup
- Melted chocolate
- A dash of liqueur, such as cognac or Grand Marnier
- Yoghurt for a fresher taste
